Step 1 - K1 Visa Application (Pre-Application): |

Firstly we will invite your Thai fiancée to visit us at one of our offices, either in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Pattaya, Hua Hin or on Samui. She/he will then meet our Thai lawyers who specializing in K1 Visa applications and he will brief him/her as to the K1 Visa application procedures and the entire K1 process. This is a very important first step in the K1 Visa application procedure as your Thai fiancée will understand what is needed and how best to proceed. Moreover this will provide him/her with the assurance that we are by your side to assist him/her through the entire K1 Visa process. This would also boost his/her confidence and enthusiasm to pursue the K1 Visa application. This step is followed by a fast and very smooth K1 Visa application procedure as we already know the K1 Visa application requirements and would have checked it before hand.

At this stage your Thai fiancée would have a good understanding as to the process. He/she would now have to complete forms needed for the K1 visa application in the Thai language (these documents we will have translated into English afterwards). Your fiancée will also complete the (USCIS) United States Citizenship and Immigration Services forms with the assistance from one of our lawyer's. Your Thai fiancée will then be provided with a list of the documents that would be needed and we will assist him/her with collecting these documents. As the documents would be in Thai, we will also have these documents again translated into English and also certify the translations.

Once all the documents have been obtained from the list given to your fiancée we will review all of them and ensure that they are correctly completed and translated. By now we are proceed to prepare an all inclusive petition package for you with all the supporting documents. Once this has been completed, we will send you the completed application package. This is done so that you may sign the documents prior to you proceeding to sending it to the USCIS service center under which your town would fall.

Step 2: K1 visa application |

 The second stage of the K1 visa application process commences with your Thai fiancée receiving the 3rd packet from the United States Embassy here in Thailand. This packet would contain all the forms and all the guidelines for the second stage of the K1 Visa application process. Your Thai fiancée would then provide us this package as soon as it arrives as we will then proceed to complete all the forms which need completing on his/her behalf and then prepare all the necessary supporting documents needed.
The above mentioned step in the K1 visa application process occurs within one month after the USCIS has approved your initial K1 visa application. Once the K1 Visa application has been approved, you will then receive an official notification in the mail from your USCIS service center. This you should provide us with (a full copy of the official notification) either by fax or via email as soon you have received it. Aside from the USCIS notification, you as the petitioner will also receive an official notification from the (DSNVC) Department of State's National Visa Center. |

- We would now proceed to complete all the Department of State forms (packet #3 contents) and then submit it with all the supporting documents completed to the United States embassy in Bangkok. We will then also be able to request an interview date for your Thai fiancée. There is a rather short wait time for the K1 visa interview at the US Embassy.
- We also make certain that all relevant documents and relevant forms are fully prepared and assist your Thai fiancée when gathering all the supporting documents needed and also performing any other tasks needed for the K1 Visa application process that needs to be completed at this second stage. Documents such as medical examination, obtaining a Thai police report amongst other documents.
- We will also provide your Thai fiancée with consultations for the K1 Visa interview at the embassy through role play with a mock embassy interview so that he/she will be familiar with the process during the embassy interview. We will also review with him/her the list of most common questions asked during the K1 interview process and suggest possible ways to best answer these questions most effectively

We will proceed to accompany your Thai fiancée to his/her scheduled interview at the embassy and stay with him/her until the interview is complete. That would mean until she obtains the visa stamped in her passport. At times the US Embassy may ask for some additional supporting documents and with us being there with your Thai fiancée, we would immediately proceed to prepare these documents for him/her and provide it to the embassy.
